Tweak!

Laura senses something in Jacob, but kindred spirits aren’t always kind.

Leigh Hill

Leigh’s love of film began at the age of five as she sat on the edge of her seat in a New Jersey movie theatre as she watched the high-flying performance of Susan Sarandon in The Great Waldo Pepper. When Susan’s character fell to her death Leigh was so overcome with emotion she shouted at the screen, “Somebody save her!”
She has continued her shouting only now it is coming from the silver screen. Leigh’s love of cinema has evolved into numerous on-camera and off-camera credits. She stars in the film No Witness along with Grammy award winning singer/song writer, Shawn Mullins and 99X radio personality Steve Barnes. She can also be seen in Losing Grace as Ronnie Cox & Lesley Ann Warren’s daughter and in Vicious with horror cult figure Tom Savini. Other credits include working on The Gift with Gary Cole and the ensemble comedy TV show The Mullet. Leigh also appears in a guest starring role on The Prosecutors, and in Angels: Mysterious Messengers as well as hosts the Thanksgiving episode of Good Eats with Chef Alton Brown.

Leigh also stars in and co-produces the national award winning short film, White Bitch Down. So far the film has garnered 7 awards including Best Film at the 2002 Atlanta 48Hour Film Project. White Bitch Down has also received the National 48Hour Film Project Award for Best Film of 2002 and is currently traveling the film festival circuit.

What attracted her to the role of the Laura was the character’s mysteriousness and that essence of good and evil that lurks in all of us. After Ghost of the Needle, Leigh’s take on vacuum cleaners and trash bags will never be the same.
